Who We Are

The L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry is located at 264 South Main Street in Wolfeboro, NH, across the street from the town library, in the All Saints Outreach Center building. It is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

Food Pantry volunteers

The Food Pantry is blessed by the generosity of many local churches, businesses, schools, clubs and individuals who faithfully support those in need in our community. Food donations are passed directly to our clients, and monetary donations are used to purchase supplemental food products at local grocery stores and the New Hampshire Food Bank.

Started in 1985, the Food Pantry, now a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has provided assistance to a growing number of families. Our goal is to provide each member of a family with three meals per day for three days a week. As of September 2017 we had served 97,000 meals for the year. This is an average of 11,443 meals per month.

The Food Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers.

The L.I.F.E. Ministries Board of Directors is made up of two representatives from each of the seven local area sponsoring churches: All Saints, Wolfeboro; First Baptist, Wolfeboro; First Christian, Wolfeboro; First Congregational, Wolfeboro; Melvin Village Community, Tuftonboro; Saint Katherine Drexel, Alton; Tuftonboro Methodist, Tuftonboro.

Three unaffiliated board members also serve.

The board meets regularly to oversee the Food Pantry’s operation and to manage its budget.
